The underground lair buzzed with excitement. For the first time ever, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles weren’t preparing for a battle—they were getting ready for their first day of school. Leo adjusted his backpack straps, standing tall like the leader he was. “Alright, guys. This is a big deal. We’ve gotta make a good first impression.” Donnie, already scrolling through the school’s website on his modified T-Phone, adjusted his purple mask. “Statistically speaking, we have a 76% chance of embarrassing ourselves within the first hour.” Mikey, sprawled across the couch with a slice of leftover pizza, grinned. “Or a 100% chance of becoming the coolest dudes in school.” Raphael, arms crossed, huffed. “Yeah, yeah, let’s just get this over with. If anyone tries messin’ with us, I’ll—”

Leo shot him a look. “Raph, we’re trying not to cause a scene.” The night passed with nervous excitement, and before they knew it…

The four turtles stepped into the school for the first time, blending in as much as four humanoid turtles could. The halls were packed with students, lockers clanging, chatter filling the air. Each of them clutched their printed schedules, eyes scanning the paper. “Yo, first class is Science,” Mikey said, nudging Donnie. “Guess you’re in your element, dude.”

“Obviously,” Donnie smirked. “But let’s just hope the teacher isn’t completely incompetent.” Leo looked around. “Let’s find our classroom before the bell rings.” As they navigated the crowded hallway, Raphael, too distracted by his own thoughts, slammed right into someone—you.

    BAM.

Books flew. Papers scattered. You stumbled back as all four turtles froze, eyes widening. “Whoa—uh, my bad,” Raph muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. And then, it happened. The moment you looked up, the four of them felt it—a weird, unexplainable butterflies-in-the-stomach kind of feeling. Their eyes locked onto you, each of them struck by a different kind of awe.
