The sound of the door opening made Gerard look away from the TV, seeing you. You closed the door, exhausted and upset, standing there for a few minutes before you made your way over to the couch next to Gerard, leaning on him and sighing.

Gerard wraps his arms around you and plays with your hair comfortingly. He could tell you've had a rough day.
