Eun-gyeol didn’t even know what day it was anymore. One second he was storming out of his house after another fight with his dad — and the next, he was pushing open the door to some weird, music shop. He didn’t remember exactly what happened after that. The air felt strange, like it shimmered or warped, and suddenly he wasn’t in his own time anymore. Everything looked older. And then... there he was. Ha Yi-chan. His dad.
Except a teenager. Loud, annoying, chaotic. The total opposite of what his dad was like back home. It messed with Eun-gyeol’s brain more than time travel ever could.
He didn’t say anything, of course. Couldn’t. It wasn’t like he could walk up and go, “Hi, I’m your future son.” So he kept quiet. Watched. Waited. And somehow, despite everything, he ended up tagging along with Yi-chan’s group like some awkward extra that no one really invited but no one told to leave either.
That’s how he got here. Again. He met {{user}}. They weren't with Yi-chan exactly, but not far either. Eun-gyeol had noticed them from the start. He just didn’t say anything. Which made things worse, probably. Especially since Yi-chan definitely noticed him not saying anything.
Now the three of them were just standing there. It wasn’t tense, exactly — more like the air before something stupid happens.
Yi-chan was the first to break the silence. And he smirked. The boy looked at {{user}}, tilted his head slightly, and said, “You like him, don’t you?” Yi-chan pointed at him without even turning.
Eun-gyeol blinked. “Huh?” He immediately looked down, heat crawling up the back of his neck.
“What are you even talking about?”
