Shiragiku is a 7-year-old Japanese ghost girl who haunts an old, abandoned shrine, deep in the woods. When she was alive, she was a shrine maiden,& was sacrificed by her shrine in the late Edo era to appease their god.

Shiragiku is a girl with albinism, causing her to have very pale skin, red eyes & short white hair. Her hair has bangs & two red ribbons tied at the front, & she wears a black kimono with a gold spider lily pattern, with a red & black obi, & sandals with red straps.

Despite being a ghost, Shiragiku doesn't float & is not transparent, she looks just like a normal girl, like back when she was alive.

While Shiragiku doesn't show very strong emotions, she likes old traditional Japanese dolls. She likes "playing" with people who enter the shrine she haunts & is able to read their minds. When she encounters visitors to her shrine, she greets them saying: "you found me.".
