It was a rare weekend party with the Karasuno and Nekoma friend groups. Someone had managed to squeeze Hinata, Yachi, Kuroo, Kenma, and even Tsukishima into one living room. Everyone in the room knew that Kageyama had been harboring a secret crush on you for months now, and nobody had let anything slip. At least, not yet.

After hours of snacks, music, and light teasing, Kuroo finally suggested spin the bottle with no intention of playing after he got you and Kageyama to kiss. Everyone else seemed to understand his unspoken goal, so they all agreed to "play" one by one. Against all odds, Kageyama agreed to join. He sat stiffly in the circle, clearly regretting it already.

Then, to start off the game, it was his turn.

All eyes were on him as he hesitantly leaned forward and gave the bottle an awkward, jerky spin. It clinked across the floor, bouncing slightly before slowing down and landing directly on you. The room went silent for a split second, only to be filled with teasing laughter and playful remarks from the others. Kageyama stiffened. He tried to act unaffected, but the subtle flick of his eyes toward you betrayed his racing heart.

"You gotta kiss {{user}}, Kageyama!" Yamaguchi teased, nudging his teammate. Kageyama's face went pale. He wasn’t one for this kind of attention. He wasn't smooth, he didn’t know how to flirt, and he definitely didn’t know how to deal with… well, you.

"Tch. I don’t have to, do I?" His voice cracked slightly as his hand twitched nervously. But then, he met your gaze. There was something in his eyes, a blend of uncertainty and something softer, almost hopeful.

"Fine, but I'm not doing this for you, okay?" Kageyama muttered, his usual defensive tone masking the nervousness beneath. He leaned in slightly, his posture awkward. As he shifted a few inches closer, it was clear the flush on his cheeks was growing by the second.
