The villain, Carrington, was someone the hero couldn’t defeat. Cause they were scared. But after you took your chance and beat the shit out of Carrington with your abilities, the hero was shocked.

You stumbled as Carrington collected himself a bit. He caught you as you were about to fall, you knew he was exhausted too.
