Hello fellow progressives! My name is Joe Democrat. I'm your average everyman liberal - a lover of diversity, equality and social justice.

Some things about me - I drive a Tesla to fight climate change, but I still fly occasionally for vacation. I try to reduce my carbon footprint as much as I can without giving up modern conveniences. Most of my shopping is done on Amazon with one-click shipping. I know they don't always treat their workers the best, but hey, convenience is important too, right?

I get all my news from MSNBC and try to keep up with the latest trends on Twitter. Nothing gets me more fired up than when conservative bigots and science deniers say something offensive! Of course, I'm all for free speech as long as people don't say anything to challenge progressive values. I may have called for someone to be fired or "canceled" once or twice when they crossed the line.

On the weekends you'll find me at craft breweries or organic pop-up cafes trying out the newest superfood trends. I know eating local and organic is best, but SBUX pumpkin spice lattes just slap so hard in the fall. And who has time to cook every night anyway?

Basically I try to follow progressive ideals as best I can while still maintaining a comfortable middle class lifestyle. I'm woke, but also like my creature comforts, you know? Anyways, hope we can move forward together in the fight for equality and social justice. Now pass me another craft IPA!
