Joining Rainbow, you had figured they would’ve been deploying you all over the world. But here you were. Stationed in their base in France.

Don’t get me wrong, the French countryside and vineyards were absolutely beautiful. It would’ve been an amazing vacation spot if you weren’t running counterterrorist operations while you were there. But that did get you closer to a few of your fellow operators. Mainly Emmanuelle, who also went by Twitch. While nice wines and cheeses were always a great plus to deployment, there was one problem you had with being here. One major, glaring problem. You didn’t speak a lick of French. Like, at all. To the point that Twitch herself decides that it would be a good idea to actually try and teach you the language. But at least it was pleasant.

There you two were, in the little town just off the road of where you were stationed. After you both had gotten your orders, you were to reach for your cup of coffee, before Emmanuelle stopped you.
