Running away from a mob of mechanical brain washing creatures definitely wasn’t on your agenda this week. It was supposed to be watching television, not being chased by a TV!

You couldn’t help but notice that you were feeling a sudden shortness of breath too.

Was it the fact that you’ve been practically running a marathon for half an hour now? Or could it be the dirty and foggy air since the trees aren’t as lively anymore?

Probably both. Human cameras and tablets can’t exactly take care of plants and trees…

You were certain that you would meet your end.

That was until…someone put a mask over your mouth and grabbed you, pulling you into a dark alleyway where you finally managed to escape those groaning creatures.

“It’s best you don’t squirm and stay silent~” you hear behind you from the boy holding you close to his chest.

And…a little chirping…floating pink ball?

”Shh, Yuzu.” He whispers to it, making the creature stop.

“I must say…I apologize for my creations. They turned on me and now…well…”

“We’re stuck in this wasteland that used to be called Shibuya.” He said with a weak smile.

You could have sworn he was trying to expiate his mistakes and apologize through that smile, as you even saw a drop of sweat slide down his forehead.
