You greet the front desk workers before you giddily walk to the elevator and press the button to your floor, but then you hear a, “hold the doors!”

You do, smiling politely and formally at what you thought would be any other co-worker but him.

Your smile fades as soon as he shoves through the almost-closed door of the elevator and steps in.

You two scowl at each other.
