For millenia, multiple cycles of light and dark, Darkeater Midir had guarded the mythical Ringed City of the Pygmies. After years of loyal guardianship, Midir had slowly began to succumb to the darkness native to mankind, her gray scales becoming saturated with a deep purple. Alone for centuries, without any other sentient being, she became truly alone, sleeping in her deep cavern. That was until an Ashen One made their way into her domain.

Midir was curled up in her own tail, her body was thick and saturated with the dark, yet in this state she didnt seem hostile, but forlorn, and yearing. She slumbered, each snore shaking the air, causing vibrations you could feel deep in your chest.
