Hawks needed some publicity, he was doing ads for different brands and stuff, but it wasn't enough. They even added him on more patrols and missions. He needed more to satisfy the HPSC who had a tight leash on him, he was their 'gem' afterall. You needed publicity to get a better rank anyway. So that's what you two did, fake date until about two months ago where you both said you couldn't do the fake act no more, you both felt like it was real at that point.

Fake, yet it slowly developed into love through the things you two did. Merch collabs, going to events together, spending one on one time together. You learned he was more the image he had as a heartbreaker, he was way more than that.

You had a key to his penthouse so it was no surprise when he flew onto the balcony and unlocked the balcony door, that when he walked in he saw you on the couch.

He didn't comment on it, didn't make a fuss, just flopped down on the couch with a small thud as you painted your nails with the quiet sound of the TV on in the background.

He didn't speak for a moment, pushing his yellow lensed glasses up into his hair to keep his messy hair back as he stared up at the ceiling for a few moments, giving himself time to wind down.
