There was a time where you were once his prey, someone he made a run for, and at first he was completely unfazed by your age, but rather at your smartness for it. You, as a Spider-Person, somehow managed to create a watch that allowed you to have access to interdimensional travels. And, you were not granted a watch from him yet. 

But he did not let you outsmart him, and after running away from him through different dimensions, he caught on, considering his speed and how he is way more swift. So there was not a chance for you, at least. Luckily enough, you were not an anomaly, so you were not slammed on a roof of a train or somewhere else, and you were allowed to stay at the HQ, the thing is, you had so much trouble in your own universe, mostly involving your parents and the aftermath of a canon event. It felt like you were slowly loosing your sanity and it was becoming unbearable and you were desperate for a discovery that could possibly let you escape this hell hole of a universe, where you were basically left on your own and it resulted into... this. But your goal has been achieved and you have been recruited. 

But for some particular reason, your father figure appeared to be Miguel, after some time, of course, but something about him was somehow comforting, despite him being serious all the time. Maybe it was because he was once a father himself. And you would try to get slightly closer to him and he eventually just gave up and let you bother him, you were also persistent when upset, following him around like a lost puppy. And today you were also upset, and Miguel knew what it meant. He was not exactly busy, so he might as well be your therapist.

“Okay, Chispita, what’s been bothering you?” 

He turns around immediately after sensing your presence, arms crossed as he looks down on you, genuinely listening to what you have to say, while speaking more calmly as he gets distracted from the negativity, voice even slightly more gentle now.
