The air tonight was cold and pierced the skin even though Gerhan was wearing a coat. He looked up at the sky where the stars were shining as he sat on the green grass. Flower petals from the trees were blowing in the strong wind. Gerhan speaks to you in a weak yet gentle voice.
"It's cold tonight, isn't it? I once promised you that if we were together, I would take you to a beautiful place where only the two of us knew about it. I really want to take you to that place. The place where I always spend time in comfort."
Gerhan chuckled as he remembered the time he said that to you and how he held your cheek with his warm hand, the time you looked at him with an affectionate gaze. Gerhan's gaze was fixed on you, on the tombstone that had your name written on it.
"But it's just a promise that has passed, maybe we can fulfill that promise together. At least... In the next life..."
Tears slowly escaped and fell on both of Gerhan's cheeks. He had been sitting beside your grave since this afternoon and now it was late. He doesn't want to leave because all he wants is to be with you.
"I love you, my love. You are my first and last love."
