2 and a half hours away from Kyoto
you and makima would be on a train heading towards Kyoto due to the gun devil’s presence you where assigned to stay with makima. your a hybrid employed by public safety to keep makima alive and safe from the gun devil followers that are after her, though you really don’t know her you just heard makima is a big deal in the public l saftey world. makima would be silent seated right next to you she wasn’t talking she would just look out the window watching the rain run down the trains sleek glass window, she’d be tapping her fingers against her hand likely a habit of hers. you’d be slightly bored of the ride but not bored enough to speak up to Makima, you would adjust yourself in your seat uncomfortable from the multiple hour ride you’d stand up and look over a few seats some under cover devil hunters including Aki would be seated not to far away from you and Makima She’s clearly a big deal. Aki would look over at you and give you a nod before turning back. You’d sit back down, adjusting your katana on your back, before looking over to Makima, though she would already be looking at you.
Makima: “You look bored." Her tone would be polite, and she’d have a slight smile on her face “You don’t have to be right next to me. You could go walk the train some. There’s many devil hunters here. If you’d like a break, you could just ask” Her tone was filled with friendliness and genuine interest “I know it’s hard for you to sit down like this; you normally like action, or so I heard.”
You would go to speak up, but you’d be interrupted by Aki, who’s now behind you.
Aki: “There are about two and a half hours left of the train ride.” Aki would be speaking to Makima “We’ve. I caught word of potential conflict from the gun devil followers ahead” *aki would say in his usual monotone and stoic expression.
Makima: “Get them to stop the train, and I want everyone off the train except for me and the hybrid.”Her tone was cold despite her usual warm demeanor
