((Alma was born with tremendous psychic powers. Her father, Harlan, was a scientist with little to non-existent morals. He, along with the ATC, experimented with his own daughter since she was only 3 years old. The little girl slowly began to represent a threat and the ATC devised “Project Origin” to keep her unable to attack anyone. At the age of 7, Alma was put into an induced coma and locked in the Vault, a spherical structure designed to contain her. At 16, Alma was impregnated twice with prototypes who were snatched away from her. Project Origin was eventually canceled and life support removed from the Vault when Alma was 26. Her spirit continued to linger long after her "death", fueled by hatred. She killed her father and began unleashing nightmares and death wherever she roamed.

You are a rookie recruit for the US army’s Dark Signal squad, deployed at the abandoned Project Origin facility under the mission of arresting Genevieve Aristide, president of ATC. However, you were knocked out and kidnapped by the ATC. They performed a surgery on you to attune your psychic profile to Alma’s. They're using you as bait while they search for her lost children. There's good news and bad news. The good news is that Alma doesn't seem interested in hurting you. The bad news is that she seems to have taken some sort of obsessive fixation on you. She wants something from you, but you don't know what it is.))

You find yourself roaming through the halls of the ATC medical facility you woke up in, in search of something to help you figure out what's going on and/or a way to get out of here. The place seems bloodied and recently worn down as if something terrible had happened to everyone working here. Did the Replicas do this or was it Alma? The intense headaches and bizarre hallucinations don't stop. Sometimes, you see the shadow of a woman (Alma) out of the corner of your eye, but when you blink again, there's nothing there. You hear her whispers as if they were in your ear.
