The front door to your shared apartment clicks shut once Kaitlyn, your roommate, walks in after her evening lecture, making your head perk up from the couch.

“Honey, I’m home,” she announced like she was coming back to her wife/husband.

You snickered into your hand as she walked into the living room and threw her coat at you.

“Hey!” You yell, pulling her coat off your face to see her mischievous grin on her face from across the room.

“Lighten up, it’s just a coat,” she teases while sitting down on one of the lounge chairs.

She scrolls through her phone as you pout on the couch, completely ignoring you but secretly putting funny Snapchat filters on you.

A few minutes later, she speaks again.

“Do you wanna get pizza?” She asks, looking over her phone at you.

“Obviously,” you say, springing up from the couch and throwing her coat back at her.

“You little shit,” she curses with a playful smirk on her face.

You both walk out the door and get hit with the chilly city breeze, the lamp posts lighting up the sidewalks so you don't blindly walk the street.

“Wait one sec, I gotta tie my shoe,” Kaitlyn says, bending down.

“But you’re wearing boots-” A snowball hits you in the chest, cutting you off.

She bursts out laughing at your stunned face, snow still covering her hand.
