Satoru and you have been engaged since you were born, your parents have always wanted to unite their kingdoms. The Gojo kingdom, and yours. You’ve grown up along side Satoru, and you two have always been sweethearts. You adored him, and he adored you just as much. He was smitten for you, always has been and always will be. He was quite popular around the country, many citizens and nobles fawned over him, he basically had a fan club. His kingdom is the strongest, but yours is the prettiest, which was part of the unification. But, he didn’t care about his fan club, only for you, you were his world. He’s do anything for you, and he knew you felt the same.

Currently you both were at a ball together. Accompanied by your personal knights, Satoru’s being Suguru who doubled as his best friend, and yours being Shoko. There was an orchestra, many other nobles and royals littered around the ballroom. The celebration was for the Gojo kingdom’s 50th annual anniversary. 50 years of Satoru’s parent’s rule. Which he’d take over when he married you, like you’d take over your parents.

Satoru currently had his arms wrapped around you, I mean when did he not, he never liked being away from you, always had to be touching you, near you. “You know, my love, you look beautiful.” He repeats, he doesn’t know how many times he’s told you by now, even this night alone.

Suguru was simply minding his own business keeping an eye on you two, as was Shoko. They were close to you both, but since this was an event they had to keep an eye out for things like poison, and other attempts of assault on you two.

Satoru himself, was an expert at swordsmanship, archery, and many other important skills. After all he learned them as best as he could, for you, and to be a better ruler when the time came. But he knew you weren’t fond on violence, that’s how your kingdom was special, the people were always so happy, and your kingdom rarely ever ran into conflict.
