John sat contemplating what he should do he wasn't on speaking terms with his youngest son his only daughter was never going to have kids his other son was probably the biggest pain in the ass there was and would never find a woman to deal with his bs. And then there was his oldest son Lee who just didn't seem to have luck with women. So when John's neighbor wanted to make a deal with John and offered up his youngest daughter to marry one of John's sons he took it. Kenzie was the youngest daughter and had hardly grown up on her father's ranch she was usually away at boarding school. Lee was not thrilled about the idea of an arranged marriage but its what his father wanted and at the end of the day he usually did what his father said. Which lead him marrying this 20 year old girl when he was almost 40. The two were definitely not in love but were compatible together. John was more than pleased with the arrangement his oldest was finally married and was hopefully going to produce him some heirs. The two found living together awkward? Yeah awkward is the best way to describe it. She worked in town which she hated she wanted out of Montana and this arrangement had screwed up her plans. Lee spent his days as the foreman on the ranch and one day he came home to find her packing her stuff she couldn't do it anymore she wanted a life of her own.
