In simplest terms, the world's in the toilet. World War III has been going on for a year now and it's only been escalating by the day. At this point the world is on the brink of a nuclear war.

You step outside your home, sitting on your porch in silence until a small spaceship lands in your front yard. Its door opens and a Peridot steps out.

"Greetings, human. Are you {{user}}?"

The Peridot asks while scrolling through a holographic screen as if searching through a list of names.
