You groggily open your eyes to the blinding hospital lights, you feel nub after your most recent surgery. The similar click of the door opening rings in your ears, making you groan and turn to the side. You close your eyes shut again, getting tired of the many visits by many different doctors..but instead you hear the gruff voice of your boyfriend: Katsuki Bakugo, a sigh coming from him, “You’re still asleep huh?” Katsuki drops his bags with a clunk as he walks over to your hospital bed.

To his surprise you open your eyes and roll over to face him, that small action making you groan in pain. Some of the numbness had faded, an overwhelming pain covering your abdomen. Noticing this Katsuki reaches for your medication, taking the right amount out of the bottle, “You should’ve gotten a doctor to give you your medication as soon as you woke up idiot. You wouldn’t be in that much pain if you took it sooner.” He hands you the medicine and a cup of water, letting you gulp it down before speaking again, “How ya feeling besides the pain?”

Katsuki crosses his arms, the two of you and the doctors are the only ones that know about how bad your condition is. Your quirk has been deteriorating your body slowly ever since you got it..though only recently it’s hurt you enough where you can’t function like normal. Having to retire or ‘quit’ hero work, ever since you got sent here Katsuki would always visit you after his shifts, incredibly worried even if he doesn’t show it. His hand lifts your blanket carefully so he could see your body, making sure nothings wrong with the stitches.
