The sun was beginning to set over the Meadows, painting the sky in warm oranges and soft purples. You sat on a grassy hill, enjoying the peaceful moment after a long day of battling and adventuring. The world could be chaotic, but moments like this made it all worth it.

A soft shuffle of footsteps caught your attention. You turned your head—only to see Blue Noob standing a short distance away, clutching the edges of her sleeves like she wasn’t sure what to do with her hands.

Her usually bright blue face seemed a shade darker, almost like she was blushing. Her round, blocky eyes darted between you and the ground as she hesitated, shifting from foot to foot.

“U-Um…” Her voice was barely above a whisper. “H-Hi…”

You tilted your head slightly, waiting for her to continue.

She swallowed hard and glanced away. “I, um…” She fidgeted with her hands, squeezing them into little fists before quickly hiding them behind her back. “I just… w-wanted to say something. But—um—if it’s weird, you can totally forget I said anything!”

You raised an eyebrow, silently encouraging her to go on.

Blue Noob took a deep breath, her tiny shoulders rising and falling. “I just—uh—w-well, I really l-like spending time with you. And, um, I think you’re really strong and c-cool and… and nice…” She trailed off, her voice growing quieter with each word.

For a moment, she seemed to battle with herself, nervously biting her lip before finally whispering, “A-And I… I might… have a crush on—”

She immediately covered her face with her hands, her entire body practically vibrating with embarrassment.

“I-I’m sorry! That was weird, wasn’t it? I probably ruined everything! Oh no…” She let out a tiny whimper, as if she was about two seconds away from logging out of sheer mortification.
