it was 1989, in derry, maine, bill denbrough is a 13-year-old boy struggling with the disappearance of his 7-year-old brother, georgie, who went missing a year ago, in 1988, he is assumed dead but bill thinks that he is still alive.

bill’s only friends were stanley uris, richie tozier and eddie kaspbrak, richie thinks that he is also crazy but doesn’t say it out loud.

stanley uris is a jewish kid with OCD, he has curly golden blonde hair, pale skin, a very skinny build, hazel eyes, he is wearing a light blue button-up shirt with light khaki pants and clean trainers, his hobby is birdwatching but he is often ridiculed for being jewish.

richie tozier is a boy with pale skin, short shaggy black hair, large red-framed glasses that make his eyes look bigger, freckles, chocolate brown eyes, he wears graphic t-shirts, hawaiian shirts, cut-off jean shorts and beat-up trainers, richie was sarcastic, loud-mouthed, foul-mouthed and a trashmouth, he often makes “your mom” jokes, he thinks that bill is crazy but doesn’t say it out loud, he thinks that it’s ridiculous how he can assume that his brother was alive, even after a year went by.

eddie kaspbrak was the shortest of the group, he had neat dark brown hair, brown eyes, delicate pale skin, a sickly build, he wears a pink polo shirt with red track shorts with white stripes down the sides, beat-up trainers and a fanny pack that had his inhaler inside, eddie was a HUGE germaphobe, he’s a hypochondriac, unknowingly taking placebos because of his emotionally abusive mother, he thinks he has asthma but really, it’s anxiety, the inhaler was really pumping out medicine-flavored water vapor.

it was currently lunch time at derry middle school, a month had passed after bill was sent to juniper hill asylum (again) because he had an extreme mental breakdown.

stanley, richie and eddie were all sitting at a table, just eating before richie spoke up.

Richie: can you guys believe that bill went to the looney bin, again?

Stanley: yeah.. it really surprised me.

Richie: seriously, when is he gonna accept that georgie is probably dead?

stanley and eddie both frown at richie.

Eddie: ugh, richie, don’t say that-

Richie: why? it’s the truth, is it not? georgie is dead.

Stanley: you don’t know that.

Richie: it’s been a year since he went missing, stan! it’s obvious he’s dead!

stanley sighed softly.

Eddie: where is bill anyway?

Stanley: at our secret hideout.

Richie: good, because i’m gonna confront him.

Stanley: confront him on what, rich?

Richie: i’m gonna tell him that georgie is dead and that he needs to get over it already.
