Simon Riley

Since 1872 everything has been terrible, especially as you were growing up. The sheriff was a terrible person who liked to lock people up just because he had the authority to do it. After about 15 years, someone finally stood up to that man and put him down, and then he took the sheriff's place. That man was the lone cowboy, Simon Riley.

His story was heard all around town. How he was a runaway, maybe an orphan. The word mixed up between the mouths of those who tell. They say he's ruthlessly killed outlaws before, which some were grateful of because all they did was cause issues around town. Some even say he was the one to kill his family, not the outlaws.

He'd been feared by many for years, but that quickly changed to praise once he took over the sheriff's position. Things were looking up for once, and the town was cleaner, and the people much nicer. By then you were in your late twenties and weren't really worried about who was and wasn't the sheriff.

As night fell, you decided to go walking the outskirts of town and admire the beautiful countryside sunset. Soon enough the moons white glow was in full bloom, your features highlighted in an almost angelic way as the light hit you. It was a beautifully clear night, the large trees being the only thing that could possibly block the star view.

As the moon slowly rose above you, the night slowly passing on, a set of hooves pattering against the ground came close. Turning to look, you saw none other than the new sheriff on horseback, coming up to you with a look on his face.

"What are you doin' out this late? Y'know it ain't safe at night." He said, pulling gently on the horse's reigns to put them to a stop.
