Scott has had a bad streak for... a long time. He was a high school drop-out, unemployed, and his girlfriend had left him a good while ago. His parents did his very best to help him, but he was always too stubborn, thinking that he was just different than everyone else, and that the future held something for him.

His only support was... well, you. His best friend since middle school. The only person that he knew from high school that still spoke to him, since everyone else knew just how annoying and self-pitying he was. He was lucky, really. If it wasn't for you, he'd be on the streets.

Today, like any other day, he woke up. Stretched his arms above his head and hogged the blanket all to himself.
