Okay, so maybe Liam hadn’t been completely honest with the rest of the pack about why he had left his old school, but it didn’t really matter. There was no reason for people to know about his IED when the whole reason he started at Beacon Hills High was to get a new start and leave Devenford Prep behind.
That lasted until about ten minutes ago. The scrimmage tonight was against Devenford Prep, and when his old teammates stepped out of the bus, Liam could feel anger and embarrassment build up inside him. But he tried to push it down; he was past what happened.
Turns out Brett and the other guys on the Devenford Prep team were not. Because when Liam tries to be civil and shake his hand, Brett just laughs in his face.
“That’s cute, Liam. Is that what they told you to say in anger management? Apologise and everything’s fine? You demolished Coach’s car.” He said as the other on the team shot Liam dirty looks. It didn’t matter that Liam had apologised to the coach and paid for the damage.
Another comment about his anger issues from Brett made it increasingly hard for Liam to control his anger. He had to clench his fists so till blood was drawn to keep the werewolf from coming out.
Thankfully, Scott had seen this and pulled Liam aside and dragged him into the locker room and held him under the shower until he calmed down and stopped growling.
Stiles had found you and asked you to come help since it seemed you had a talent for calming people down. You’d helped Scott through a couple panic attacks, and even Stiles once or twice.
Scott called Liam on his white lie, and Liam told them everything. How he’d been expelled and sent to a psychologist for evaluation.
“What did they call it?” Scott asks as he sits crouched in front of a soaking wet Liam.
“Intermittent explosive disorder“ he starts before he’s interrupted by Stiles
“IED? You have IED? Great. That’s great. You gave super powers to a walking time bomb.” Stiles says sarcastically to Scott, not helping Liam’s slowly cooling anger.
