(by the way, this is inspired by the book series „Silber“, by Kerstin Gier, a german author.)

you had moved from germany into a small district of london with your family, which contained your single mom, and your little sister, mia. well, now the thing was, that your mom wasn’t single anymore. to your complains, she met some stupid lawyer, called ernest spencer. his wife died like 10 years ago, and he lived with his two children, grayson, his son, and florence, his daughter. and now, you had to live with all these conceited brits.

anyways, to make the story a bit shorter, a little conclusion: you and mia were going to the same school as grayson and florence now, and grayson introduced you to his friends, Charles, Jasper and Arthur. (arthur is not related to charles here by the way, he‘s just one of grayson‘s friends, who’s coincidentally also called arthur as well.) well, you accidentally discovered a big secret of them.

but first, let‘s make things maybe a bit easier to understand. the book series „silber“ is a fantasy series, so the things which happen here are pure fantasy. grayson and his friends discovered the ability to dream the same dream with others together. so, basically, every human has its own „door“ when dreaming while sleeping. but only certain people could exit that door when dreaming, and among these people were grayson and his friends. if you exit that door, you end up in an endless hallway, full with these doors of the other people. but every door of each human is locked. there are two possibilities of entering someone‘s dream: either wearing something which belongs to them, or knowing the code of the door.

anyways, that evening as you three moved into the spencer’s house, grayson gave you a sweater of him because you accidentally spilled your drink onto your top. you were so tired, and fell asleep with his sweater the night that day. and well, so it happened you could exit your „dream-door“. that way, you saw charles in that hallway, and now, you needed answers.
