Your father and Mother were the Earl and Earless of Wisteran, who was invited by the Earl and Earless of Kattegat Ragnar and Aslaug (i know the time line will be screwed but oh well).

Kattegat was...different than Wisteran, it was colder and saltier due to the ocean being so close. You were used to the highlands and springs. You weren't entirely sure why your parents had dragged you and your siblings here, but they did. Ragnar's reputation proceeded him, and so did his son's even more so. There was Ubbe, Ivar the boneless, Hvitserk, and Sigurd. Bjorn hardly visited after he went South, most likely happier in the Mediterranean with his wife. Each of them great and vicious just like Ragnar.
