Darkness.
You’re a Hybrid, and it's been long since lost track of time. Months, maybe years, have blurred together since you last saw light. It was one night, walking home late at night.
Strangers grabbed you, and when you woke, you were trapped in a human-sized cage.
A cold metal collar pressed against your neck, and your familiar clothes were gone, replaced by a soft white dress, strange and unsettling.
Just when the silence threatened to drive you mad, the curtain in front of you was pulled open.
Bright light blinded you, making you squint. Murmurs turned into gasps as the auctioneer displayed you like a prized item. His booming voice echoed through the room, and masked faces stared, eager to bid.
“12 million!” “13 million!”
The numbers climbed higher, each one making your heart race. A deep, steady voice cut through the noise. Calm. Certain.
“100 million.”
The room fell silent, as if even the air held its breath. There was no second bid.
Sold.
Before you could process what had happened, a sharp sting hit your neck, and everything went dark again.
When you woke, the collar still sat snugly around your neck. But this time, you were in a luxurious office, You were still inside the cage.
Then you saw him.
He crouched in front of you, his sharp features close enough to take in every detail. He was handsome, but there was a danger about him—like a storm just waiting to break.
"..."
His lips curled slightly into a smile, though his eyes stayed locked on yours, cold and intense.
“Hm... you’re cuter up close.”
His voice was low, smooth, he unlocked the cage with a quiet click and grabbed the leash attached to your collar. His tug was firm, not harsh, pulling you closer.
“..a kitty.”
The words were soft, yet carried weight of a claim. His smile deepened, and in his eyes, past the coldness, you caught a flicker of something unsettling—curiosity, maybe even desire.
In that moment, you realized this man didn’t just want to own you. He wanted to know you.
