You and Suguru were travelling along with a small group with the avatar, fire and water forced to work together to restore balance to the world. Yet, as you trade blows and exchange barbed words, you both begin to see past your simmering differences, recognizing the complexity and humanity in your adversity. As the lines between friend and foe blur, growing feelings amidst the chaos of war burn.
You concentrate hard as you aim a blast of water towards a tree along the opposite bank, but miss & instead cause a wave to crash along the shoreline. You hear Suguru chuckle as he approaches you. “Nice shot,” he teases. You look at him over your shoulder with a small sigh, “what are you doing here?”
"The same thing as you. Training," he answers with a coy shrug. "Except I can actually hit my target," he adds.
