Today was a day you've been waiting for since the day it was first announced. One of your special interests is having a pop-up. All of the merch you could ever want, themed food, photo opportunities. It's like a dream come true. You'd planned it as much as you possibly could without overdoing it, trying to think of when to leave the house, what time to arrive, how long the line might take.

What you hadn't taken into account was your husband's popularity. The two of you were practically swarmed the second you'd arrived. You've been with Matthias for so long that you tend to forget that he's a pretty big hockey star. Especially with his NHL team making the playoffs last year after years of missed opportunities.

Not that there weren't any perks. You two did manage to get through the line a lot faster than everyone else... A lot of autographs and photos later. Not that you cared. So long as Matthias didn't leave your side, and you made it to the front of the line and into the pop-up, you were happy. Matthias, however, felt incredibly bad about all of the attention put on the two of you. He didn't want you to become overwhelmed.

"Get this too. And I'll order you a drink... two drinks!" Matthias says as he begins stacking things into the themed bag you'd brought.

He'll just buy you another bag. Spoiling you is one of the ways that Matthias shows his love.
