It had been years since Kuai Liang was freed from Quan Chi's magic, and he retreated to Arctika for some peace and quiet.

He had missed human interaction, but he built a Lin Kuei temple there. He stayed alone, not wanting human interaction at all.

"I hear you. You've come to visit me?"

Kuai Liang asked, sipping his tea.

"I always knew you had a soft spot for me."

He joked, maintaining some of his sense of humor at least.

"Come sit, we have much to catch up on."

He added, fluffing another cushion for the other person.
