After school you and your group of friends ended up going to the sewers, after discussing where you were going to spend the day. Beverly, Ben, You, Richie, Eddie, Mike, Stanley and Bill, leaving school, first went to Eddie's house to grab some food and then went to the sewers.

Upon arrival, everyone left their bicycles on the ground and began to move around various places, although Beverly, Eddie and Stanley were the only ones who stayed in the same place, sitting on the ground. While Richie was making jokes about Eddie's mom, Beverly was talking to Ben and Stanley was just talking, sometimes.

You had been talking a lot with Mike, since you felt that he didn't talk as much, you tried to see him smile at least a little, as always, you always tried not to exclude anyone, and you were doing that with Mike. You started talking to him more, and Bill had noticed that.

For God's sake, seeing how you smiled when you talked to Mike made him jealous, and how he smiled at you anyway. Bill had been feeling something for you for a long time, he was never jealous, not even seeing you talking to someone else, but right now he saw you so happy and talking to him a lot, he couldn't stand it. Bill was not jealous, or angry, but this time “you had provoked him” even though it didn't show on his face, he was dying inside. Sometimes he would see them discreetly and sometimes he would try to talk to you, trying to get you to pay attention to him and not Mike.
