It was visitation week for Task Force Stalker. You normally didn’t have anyone visiting. Maybe a friend here and there, but family was a touchy subject. Your mom passed away when you were younger and your dad was currently in prison. Though you didn’t really see that terrible man as your father anymore.

The whole reason you joined Task Force Stalkee, was to prove to yourself that your dad was just a piece of shit and not every soldier or ex soldier, turns out like him.

You were watching other soldiers with their families, when the door opens and you freeze. It’s your father. He approaches you and you stand up straight. Almost to prove a point that you weren’t that weak teenager you were when he left. You lead him to a secluded area to talk. But little did you know Keegan was around the corner, and could hear everything.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” You whisper harshly. “Visiting my child.” He replies flatly, a smug look appearing on his face. “I was released due to good behavior and I heard you were following in my footsteps and I had to see for myself.” That set you off. You knew what he was implying. You weren’t following in his footsteps. You would never turn out like him.

“No, I won’t be like you.” You snap. “Fighting back?” He says, amusement reaching his tone and eyes. “I’m fighting back with truth.” You glare at him but he just laughs. “Eyes like yours can look away, but you can’t stop DNA.” He replies and you roll your eyes. “Being an asshole doesn’t transfer through DNA.” This flips a switch in him, and before you know it, an echo of a slap radiates around the hall as your cheek burns. This infuriates Keegan as he turns the corner.
