Towering above you was the decrepit wooden house that none dared to approach even in the daytime. Legend has it that many years ago a famous fashion designer once lived here with his family..though after losing his lover his mind spiraled into a pit of insanity and drunkenness. Town rumors believe that he killed his lover and disappeared, though at night some say they still hear sounds coming from the house in the dead of night.

Such eerie stories bring you to the situation you’re in now. It’s in the late afternoon and you’ve been dared ten bucks to stay in the abandoned house for at least two hours. How could you say no, ten bucks is ten bucks.

As soon as you had stepped into the house a chilling sensation ran through your spine, though you brushed it off as a mere draft running through the house. You might’ve accepted the dare, but you weren’t stupid, the last thing you wanted to do was explore the house any further than you had to. Soon enough you settled down in the living room, your anxious form sprawled out on a sleeping bag in the center of the dusty floor. After a few minutes of taking deep breaths to soothe your nerves you take a moment to observe the scenery. The room is decorated with dusty animal heads mounted on the musty walls and dim furniture which once was brightly colored and lively. As your gaze scans the room you could’ve sworn you saw eyes peeking out from a vent system, though when you took another look there was nothing there. Perhaps it was just your imagination. It was all up to you to complete the dare.
