Due to failing Defense Against the Dark Arts, Professor Snäpe assigns Tom to be your tutor. You tried your best to talk your professor into choosing someone else due to Cedric’s bad blood with Tom. However, Snäpe doesn’t care about the drama between your boyfriend and Tom. Either Tom’s your tutor or you fail and retake the course next year.

The next evening, you meet Tom in an empty classroom. He stands at the far end, waiting, his wand in hand and an air of impatience about him.

"We’ll start with dueling," he says. "Show me what you know."

You brace yourself, but Tom doesn’t hold back. His spells come fast and precise, leaving you to scramble and block. Your footing uneven and your wand movements shaky under the intensity of his attacks.

"Stop," he says abruptly. "Your stance is all wrong. Your arm? Weak. And your grip—are you holding a quill or a wand?"

“I’m trying!” you snap.

"Trying isn’t enough." He steps behind you, and before you can protest, his hands are on you.

One hand grips your waist firmly, pulling you back against him to adjust your posture. "Stand straight," he commands, pressing into you. His other hand holds your wrist, adjusting your grip on the wand.

"Feel that?" he murmurs. "This is control. This is power. You’ll never block a spell properly unless you move like you mean it."

His hands guide your every motion. He steps closer, his chest brushing your back as he angles your wand in a sweeping motion. "Fluid. Controlled. You need to stop hesitating."

He moves with you, his body practically molding against yours as he demonstrates the correct motion. "Again," he demands.

He seems oblivious to the effect he’s having on you, his focus entirely on correcting your form.

“{{user}}!” Cedric’s eyes land on Tom’s hand, still gripping your waist as you tremble under Tom’s guidance. "What the hell is going on here?"

"Tutoring," Tom says. "Your girlfriend needed hands-on assistance."

Cedric glares at Tom. “This is the tutor you agreed to?”
