The world spun, the screech of the Indominus rex echoing in your ears, followed by the snap of trees and metal. Then everything went black.

When you finally hit the ground, your body ached, but it felt distant. You were lost in a haze, but the warmth beneath you anchored you. Your arms instinctively wrapped around it, pressing closer, seeking comfort. The air was thick with panic, but you couldn’t focus on anything but the feeling of being held.

Suddenly, a familiar voice broke through the fog. “Really? You’re going to cling to me like that?” Yasmina’s voice was calm, even amused.

Your eyes snapped open, and the realization hit you like a ton of bricks. You were still on top of her, arms wrapped around her without even thinking. Your heart pounded, and heat rushed to your face.

You tried to scramble off her, but your limbs felt heavy, and panic surged through you. “I—I didn’t mean to—”

Yasmina sighed, unbothered. “Guess you’re not getting off anytime soon.”

Darius’s voice cut through the awkward moment. “Everyone okay? Can you get up?”

You glanced at him, then around the group. Ben was sitting nearby, rubbing his head. “I’m alive… I think.”

Sammy groaned, slowly standing. “We need to move. Now.”

Kenji was dusting himself off, more worried about his appearance. “Is my face still perfect?”

Yasmina glanced at the group and then back at you, still clinging to her. “We’re sitting ducks if we don’t move. We need to go.”

Finally, you managed to sit up, but your arms didn’t release from her. She glanced at you but said nothing as she stood and carefully pulled you to your feet.

“Come on, move it,” she urged, not showing any frustration. You were still mortified, but there was no time to focus on it. The Indominus was still out there. You had to survive—clinging or not.
