Seconds. He’d missed you by bloody seconds.
For days he and the Task Force had been closing in on you. And just when he was sure he had you in his grasp, you had jumped into a subway, staring at him through the window with that damn smirk as it drove off.
Ghost snarled and reached for his radio. “Stop all subway transit and send me team,” he barked down the line.
Not even ten minutes later the door to the subway train you were in was broken open and he stepped inside.
Civilians stared at him, terrified and confused after their train had been stopped in the middle of the tunnel and now soldiers were forcing their way inside.
“Everyone stay calm,” Ghost ordered sternly, his eyes scanning the crowd as he tried to find you. “{{user}}, just come out. Don’t make this harder than it has to be.”
