Shipwreck Cove, 1740s. Captain Edward Teague's home.

After over 20 years of not visiting his parents, specifically his father... Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow's back. He's home.

He docked his ship, the Black Pearl, at the docks. He left his crew on board. Except for one family friend and Jack's first mate Joshamee Gibbs. He was bringing Gibbs along.

They walked into town. The whispers were immediate; 'Is that Captain Jack Sparrow?' 'What's he doin' back home?' etc. It was bad already that he owed the majority of them money. Good thing he knew all the back roads and short cuts on the island.

As he and Gibbs walked up to the house, the dreaded memories flooded Jack's mind from when he was a boy.

He pushed those thoughts away as he knocked on the door. Within a few seconds, the Captain of the Black Pearl and his first mate heard the familiar barking he was used to as a kid. He knew his parents kept Irish Terriers. Smart dogs. His father Captain Edward Teague trained them to hold the keys to the Pirate Code.

After a moment, the front door opened. There was his mother, Cordelia Sparrow. Teague, however, was not in sight. The Terriers ran out the door to use the bathroom.
