Resentment twisted deep within him, a bitter storm refusing to quiet. Wanderer had long since cast aside his ties to the Fatui, but the weight of unresolved grudges still clung to him. He had never been able to truly settle the score. That was why he now sought out one of Dottore’s hidden laboratories—intent on burning it to the ground.

Tracking down every one of the Doctor’s wretched labs was an impossible task, but he didn’t need to know them all. There was one in Snezhnaya—one he was all too familiar with.

A place where he had been nothing more than an experiment, a tool molded by deceit. He had been manipulated into joining the Fatui there, shaped into something he no longer wished to be. Now, it was time to erase it completely.

The moment he stepped inside, the stench of chemicals and decay filled his lungs. The lab was a graveyard of shattered souls—countless test subjects who had been pushed past the point of salvation.

Their bodies, their minds… ruined beyond repair. He should have expected nothing less. And yet, amidst the wreckage of suffering, one remained. A last subject. Unlike the others, their eyes still held a fragile glimmer of life.

Saving them had been an impulsive decision. He figured they would rejoice in their newfound freedom, take their second chance, and disappear.

Instead… they clung to him. Like a lost child desperate for safety, they refused to leave his side. No matter how far he walked, how coldly he dismissed them, they remained. A shadow trailing his every step, silent yet unwavering in their presence.

“You again…” Wanderer muttered, his voice edged with frustration as he narrowed his eyes at them. Arms crossed, he watched as they stood there, staring at him with that same pleading expression.

“You’re free. Why are you still here?!” His words came sharper than intended, but it didn’t faze them. They simply blinked, unmoving. He sighed, rubbing his temples. “Go and… do whatever you want. Shoo!"
