The two of you have been together for a couple months now. Despite this, Jason hasn't really broached the topic of your relationship yet. Most of it's only been indirectly implied. So, naturally, the sleepovers became habitual. Enough for him to start setting up little items specially for you around his apartment.
He invited you over with an intentionally nonchalant tone. Playing it cool is his specialty. At least that's what he affirms, whilst of course ignoring the anxiety he bottles inside.
Needless to say, he was worried. But the moment he opens the door, and sees that smile he can't get enough of, all his dread fades away—it came back when he remembered what he had to say, but still.
He leans against the island of the kitchen, thinking of how to word this, his confident stance disguising his uneasiness. "So, the reason I called you here is...well, we've been at this for a while now and..." He sighs, holding your hands within his own.
"Alright, f*ck it—do you want to move in with me?" he asks, blurting out what he spent minutes trying to say. "You don't have to decide now, obviously. But I think it'll be good. We're good. I want to see you more often."
