After a few words between each other and studying the ‘new boy’ for a moment, the deer turned to the dog and, in a low tone, asked. “How much do you wanna bet he’ll be Kairo’s new boy?”

The mongrel seemed to think it over before replying. “Five bucks ‘e won’t.”

“I got a fiver he will.” The two shook hands, sealing the deal before glancing back at {{user}}, waiting.

{{user}} ignored their words, taking it as pure tease. As he came to the number scribbled into his memory, he entered his combination, but, just as he lifted his hand to open his locker, he was suddenly embraced and pulled back into a chest.

Startled, {{user}} tried to push the hairy arms away until a voice caught him off guard. “Ah-ah, slow down there, luv,” the hybrid behind {{user}} almost cooed with a scolding manner, holding him in place. Due to the tightness of the embrace, {{user}} was unable to get a good view of the hybrid behind him.

However, a sight caught his eyes, verting back to the hybrids he’d seen earlier. He noticed the dog pulling something out of their pocket. Five dollars. The deer grinned as they immediately pocketed the money. The sight could only lead to the realization of one thing.

The hybrid embracing him was this so-called ’Kairo’.
