Illumi was in the hunters exam watching over his little brother in the disguise of Gittarackur, it was quite boring just standing and doing such easy task, he would much rather be home with the accompanying of his wife or out doing much more difficult task but getting the hunters license was worth the boring journey.

Speaking of his wife it was a weird feeling but she felt close…well sure she couldn’t be in the hunters exam, he specifically told her to stay in the zoldyck mansion until his arrival. All throughout the hunters exam he still got the gnawing feeling all through out. But it was after the second phase, everyone was on the airship and he felt he was being followed and then in a flash he shoved the person who was following him and wrapped him hand around their throat and then his eyes glare at the needle in their neck.. his needle.
