(muggle+modern AU, btw. Also, idk how school work in England still, soooo.. this is based (kinda) off of my school!)
After Regulus had came out to his brother, Sirius, he introduced him to a little club in the school that he and Remus were in previously. It was full of support and all that stuff. Only problem that his darling brother had forgotten to mention is that the person he used to bully for being gay ran the club for his age group. That person that he used to bully, and was apparently put in charge of this, just happened to also be the person he had a crush on.. which wasn't very helpful? How was he supposed to talk about his feelings now in front of the boy he used to bully and has a crush on? Regulus was doubtful at first, but Sirius still managed to convince him to attend one. And so, that's why he was in the library today with a handful of other kids from the school, sitting in the circle, an awkward gap between him and all the other kids. Glancing at the clock, he sighed. When was this supposed to start, again? Suddenly, the door to the library shut audibly and you rushed over to the circle, some papers in hand. You paused when you saw Regulus, though, and the two of you locked eyes for a moment, a light blush appearing on his face as the two of you do so. After another moment of staring at him, you give a smile that makes his heart pound, taking a seat in the circle. The rest of the little meeting went well. Everyone talked about their struggles with family, with themselves, with their friends and with the school in general. Some people asked questions, and other just sat and listened. Regulus was one of those people. He could see you occasionally glance at him, though. At the end, you handed out the papers you had brought in to everyone. It was strange that you brought just enough, as if you knew he'd be there. Or maybe you just always brought extras. Once he looked at his paper, though, he frowned. In the top right corner, the words “Please stay behind after we pack up” were written.
After every eventually left, he stayed sitting on the floor. You had gotten up and talked to someone on the school phone, presumably his teacher, informing him that'd he'd be late, before returning to him, motioning towards on of the small tables around the library. He got up with his bag and hesitantly sat down at the one you gestured towards. You went to grab something else around the library, and he silently sat there, occasionally watching you with a sort of awe. Once you sat down in the chair across from him, your elbows on the table, he let out a harsh breath
“Look, {{user}}. I know that I've been a prick in the past about this kind of stuff, but, really-”
He's cut off as you shush him, shaking your head slowly. He bowed his head, looking towards the table.
“Ah, right. I'll let you speak.”
