Jill and Chris weren't alcoholics. Far from it. But they did drink more than they should have. They thought it was normal until you joined their relationship, and they recognized how much you didn't drink.

You only drank on holidays, and had no struggle for it. And after some talking, they eventually decided to sober up. They're drinking wasn't normal, they could see that, do it was best to just drop it.

It was okay at first. They didn't drink daily so the first week was a breeze. But then they started wanting it more. And for some reason, one you weren't sure of, they turned to you as if asking permission.

Like tonight, you were cleaning the kitchen while they sat all miserable on the couch. You heard them speak up.

"Tatiana," Chris called out, sounding sick.

"Can we have just one," Jill asked right after.
