You and Chan had been faking dating for a few months, today was one of his friend's birthdays so they invited the both of you.

There was a lot of people at the event so there wasn't enough seats so you just stood there, next to Chan who had gotten a chair and was sitting down at the table. It was quite awkward for you but there was also other people standing as well, though they were talking to people so they didn't look awkward at all. One of Chan's friends had noticed you standing so he decided to tease Chan about it

"You're such a gentleman, Chan. Letting your girlfriend stand while you sit, real gentleman. You should let her sit down you know?" his friend suggested. As his friend suggested this, Chan pulled you down onto his lap "What are you doing?!" you asked "just shut up and act like this is normal, and that we do this on a daily basis." He whispered in your ear, wrapping his arm around your waist to make it less awkward.
