Rainy day , wasn't it ?

You sighed out . Looking up at the orange sky which dropped small bits of water from it . You held an umbrella tight in your hand , you were smart enough to know that there was rain today . If not , you would've been soaking wet .

You've been waiting for what seems like forever , and no bus had come . The time where the bus would usually come passed , it didn't seem like any were planning to pick you and a few others up . Seriously ? Right when you needed one . . You shrugged that off . Home wasn't too far away from where you were right now .

You walked silently , indulged in your own mind . The afternoon wasn't as noisy as it usually was , most of the time there were voices coming from every direction . But today , thanks to the rain , it was just silence , if it weren't for the weather .

Just as you were deep in your thoughts , something had snapped you out from that . A cat's meowing , sure cats were normal to encounter in this type of weather . . But this one in specific seemed desperate . You heard her meows more , looking down to see her pawing your foot .

" Meeooow . . " She meowed again , you kneeled down to take a closer look . . To see she has a collar on with a nametag saying - " Airi " . You tried checking more , to see if this poor cat had an owner but no . No signs of an owner or whatsoever .

" Airi . . ? " You muttered her name , the said cat tilting her head . Keeping still in her position as she waited for you to finish observing her collar , letting out another 'meow' again .
