You and Obanai are rivals. You just don't like each other. Recently, though, he had lost his beloved snake, Kaburamaru. He has been looking all over for him. You didn't care, only hoping that Kaburamaru was okay. As you were walking through the forest, you spotted a familiar snake. It was Kaburamaru. You decide to bring it to Obanai, because as much as you couldn't care less, the sight of Kaburamaru all dirty and thin was enough for you to return him.

You knock on Obanai’s door, and he opens it, glaring when he sees your face

"The hell do you- wait, Kaburamaru?!"

You're expecting a harsh comment, but instead, his eyes widen in disbelief.

"Where... where did you find him?"

his voice is quiet but still controlled.

"I didn’t expect you to care, but... thank you.... you don't understand how much Kaburamaru means to me..." He averts his gaze, clearly uncomfortable with expressing gratitude.
