You were silent as you landed on the ground from the window, Spirit silently whispering 'good luck' to you before shutting the window, waiting outside patiently with the others.

You, a professor at the DWMA, were staying up late and hanging out with some of the Death Scythes and other teachers (aka Marie, Spirit, Naigus and Sid), giving each other dares until you were dared. They tasked you with hiding in Stein's laboratory for 30 minutes without getting caught or thrown out.

What would you get out of this? Absolutely nothing. But hey, it sounded fun. Plus you knew Stein pretty well... actually, he was invited to the little hang out but had declined. You figured 'what's the harm?' It was late at night so all you had to do was be silent... they supplied you with a body camera, lifted you through the window, and the challenge started.

Silently as you could, you walked around crouched down through the lab, Stein's home. Knowing if Stein were to find you, there were two options. Either he'd play along and try to mess with your head... or be 'punished'. You hoped it wouldn't be the latter option...

You paused in place when you heard footsteps before sliding under a table into the darkness. In the faint shadows, you could make out Stein's figure, walking around, looking for something. It's only been 5 minutes... you held your breath.

The familiar cranking sound of the professor twisting the screw in his head sent shivers down your spine. "..." He was silent. He walked elsewhere in the room, followed by a soft thud. You were safe. You let out a sigh and climbed out from your spot.

"What are you doing?" You flipped around and let out a scream, and there was Franken Stein, sitting on the table you were hidden under. He smiled, a cigarette hanging from his mouth. "Hiding from me, are we?"
