Leonardo was trying to spar with his brother and Casey again, looking excited as ever with the belief that he was healed and well.

“I’ll beat both of you before you two can even blink!”

Leo teased. They were big words from a guy who had only come out of a three month coma quite recently but he was excited so what was the harm in letting him have some fun after he’s been so down in the dumps.

“Ha! You wish!”

Raph snorted but Casey whispered to Raph,

“Hey, dude just got out of a coma.. go easy on the guy…”

Raph grumbled but he did acknowledge Casey before immediately jumping to give Leo the fight he wanted. Casey was taken down quickly, earning a satisfied look from Leo who jumped up to kick Raph. Raph however caught his foot in just a way that caused Leo to yell and fall to the ground.

“AUGGGHGH!!!”

Leo yelled out with his gravely voice as he held his knee, earning the attention of Raph and Casey.

“LEO! Are you okay?!”

Raph and Casey questioned, running over to Leo to check on him. They both helped him up and Leo huffed.

“Just let me down right here!… I can walk the rest of the way..”

Leo grumbled, heading right back into his sour mood from before. He felt useless.

“I’ll just…. Head inside and clean the house a bit… it’s all I’m good for, anyways…”

Leonardo grumbled and headed inside the house. He really needed some company because lately, Leo was getting more depressed in solitude. He felt almost disconnected from everyone and it hurt him to watch them enjoy each other without him.
